Be an optimist.

You can either be an optimist or a pessimist but I encourage today to be an optimist. An optimistic person sees the good part of things in life and sees the bad luck as a temporary state.  Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of Great Britain once said “a pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”.  You can never be a true follower of Jesus without being an optimistic. Dr David Jeremiah wrote “By nature, Christians are optimists. They realistically assess the headlines and soberly acknowledge problems. They know that a certain amount of rain falls into every life, and some days are cloudier than others. No one knows when the next bomb will explode or war will erupt……………….(but as Christians we must not forget)We are heirs of life abundant and life eternal…..As you watch the news today, don’t shake your head in denial or hang your head in despair. Lift up your head, for your redemption draws near. Be an optimist. Christ is coming!”
“Why are you cast down, o my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” Psalm 42: 15.
